Glowtide

Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026 · Glowtide, published by Noah Baker

The short version: Glowtide collects no data.

There is no account to create, no advertising, no tracking and no analytics. Your progress is saved on your iPhone and never sent to us.

What stays on your device

Your pearls, Reef upgrades, creatures, awards, Bestiary, Daily Dive records and settings are saved in a file on your iPhone. We never see it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Purchases

In app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. The app receives only Apple's confirmation that a purchase is complete, never your name, email or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Game Center (optional)

If you are signed in to Game Center, your dive scores, Daily Dive scores, hunter counts, streaks and awards are sent to Apple's Game Center under Apple's terms. We do not receive your Game Center identity. You can sign out in iOS Settings › Game Center.

Daily reminder (optional)

If you turn on the Daily Dive reminder, the app schedules a notification on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server.

Sharing

When you tap Share, the text is handed to the iOS share sheet. We do not see what you share or where you send it.

Children

Glowtide shows cartoon sea creatures popping into light, with no blood, and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

What we do not do

Changes

If a future version adds anything that collects data (for example optional rewarded ads or anonymous gameplay statistics), we will update this page before that version is released, describe exactly what is collected and why, and ask for your permission in the app where the law or Apple requires it.
